Germs stick to the oils and grease on our hands. Because water and oil don’t like each other, water alone doesn’t remove the germs. Soap likes both water and oil, binding them together. The friction of hand washing with soap helps lift the dirt and grease free from the skin. Warm water then washes away the suspended oil and grease, carrying the germs with it. SOAP doesn’t need to kill the germs on our hands, it helps remove them. No harsh chemicals or antibacterial soap (that strips your natural oils) required. Be gentle to those hardworking hands 🤎
